Lava Java Laundromat & Coffee Shop, Ottawa, ON

If I could give Lava Java 0 stars I would. Where do I even start with this establishment? I am a struggling university student just trying to get by and I was brought to tears because of the insufferable experience that I had today. First of all, they only accept loonies and quarters but don't even offer a change machine in order to acquire said change. Furthermore, the machines barely work, and almost always eat your money (which keep in mind is 3 dollars PER LOAD. As a student on a budget, I cannot afford to be losing money to these scammers every week while I'm just trying to get my laundry done. They are extremely unreliable, advertising that they are open when they are in fact not. As this is our local laundromat and our only option in order to maintain basic hygiene (a basic human right) this is inexcusable and downright INHUMANE. I strongly advise everyone in Sandy Hill to boycott Lava Java and stop supporting this toxic establishment.
