In 1968, two farming brothers, Harold and Erwin Keddy, identified a need to help fruit and vegetable growers of the Annapolis Valley bring their harvest to market. H&E Keddy Brothers Ltd. was formed and gave farm markets, retail stores and restaurants the means to quickly and easily supply Nova Scotians with food grown close to home.
