KTC Technology Ltd was formed in 1994 as a result of development of various software and hardware solutions for the radio industry. Specifically custom software programs designed to aid stations using hard disk audio systems in the integration of music and traffic logs “LogMerge” and production tools like “VoiceTracker” were developed. Additionally certain hardware devices were developed such as “The Babysitter”, “Cart Controller”, “Sat Controller” and more. In 1996 KTC released the initial version of a unique audio logging product called “ReeLogger”, this was the first entirely hard drive based broadcast logging program. During the next few years ReeLogger became the defacto standard of logging for Canadian Broadcasters. Our latest venture is XStudio, developed jointly by CRMedia and KTC Technology, XStudio builds on the 2 companies strengths in the broadcast software arena.
