Today i went to Huang Sheng supermarket , this was not my first time shopping at this supermarket. Today, may 2, 2021 at about 4- 4.30 pm. I was there shopping. After I paid at the cashier, I noticed that something was wrong . I went back and asked about the price of specific products, because I was charged $7 for spices. When I asked the manager to cancel, he said that that was the price . but I said that I don't want it and asked to return it. He was ok, and told the cashier to give me my money back. She said “I need the receipt“ twice to me even though she had the receipt- she kept saying it. She spoke rudely and was yelling. I did not understand her because her English wasn't clear. She then gave me my money with anger, while other customers who witnessed it were calling her so rude. This is not the first time their staff has been very rude to me or other customers in front of me, even though they do not speak English fluently and we try to understand them and be polite. The company needs to fix this and to remind staff that we are in Canada and it is our expectation as customers to get good service . 2 months ago, my friend bought seafood there and the same thing happened to him. They were yelling and asked him to pay first before they cut the fish in another language. When my friend was confused and did not understand their language, they keep yelling and asked him to pay. This is Canada, customer has right to complain for better service and complain to the government.
