The Academy offers a wide variety of classes including Gurmukhi (Punjabi), Keertan, Tabla, Sikh History and Philosophy, Gatka (Sikh Martial Arts), Gurbani Santhya, and Sikh Band. We are proud to offer Keertan classes for the following classical Indian instruments: Dilruba, Rabab, Taoos, Tanpura, Surmandal, Sitar, Santoor, Esraj, Veena, Violin, Mendolin, Banjo, Plate Tarang, Pipe Tarang, Jal Tarang. Classes range in difficulty from beginner to advanced and are offered for both children and adults. The Guru Nanak Academy organizes regular Gurmat camps and retreats to further promote Sikh values and teachings throughout North America.
