Guide on the Side, the premiere computer coaching service located in the Georgian Bay Triangle of Ontario, Canada. Established in 2009, our clients are learning on their Macs, iPads, iPhones, iPods and Apple TVs across Canada and around the world. Guide on the Side makes onsite visits in Southern Ontario, and also provides an easy to use real-time online coaching solution to facilitate client learning worldwide.

Georgian Bay Triangle clients have the option, usually after one or two on-site home visits, to work with with their Guide on the Side remotely over the Internet. These easily scheduled - and often "just in time" - remote sessions have a reduced hourly rate, thus providing the additional benefit of cost savings. Guide on the Side, Michael Laurence, has 45 years of both formal teaching experience and working with computers. Formerly a Naval Flight Officer, he recently retired from a major Ontario university where he was Educational Technology Consultant. This position involved helping faculty and staff to advance their information technology literacy. His clients are primarily retirees (Boomers; Zoomers) and are located in 6 countries as well as the Georgian Bay region of Southern Ontario.
