Doug Wedgerfield began his career in the late eighties by helping local Transport Companies find professional temporary drivers. Realizing the potential value across all industries, Doug expanded the business beyond professional drivers to provide local companies with light industrial personnel, clerical and administrative office support, quickly becoming a powerful force in the newly established staffing industry. He quickly reached the position of General Manager establishing one of Canada’s largest and most successful independent staffing companies.
Doug initiated a new approach to this industry, setting new standards of credibility and reliability. By 1999 He had more than doubled the size of the company creating a brand recognition of excellent quality and skilled personnel that became recognized as an industry leader.
In 2002 Doug, created Front Line Work Force Inc., he recognized there was a void within the staffing industry and endeavored to bring back to the industry the credibility it was lacking. In the succeeding years, the company has broadened its expertise in supporting clients with a wider range of skill sets, adding professional positions that have come to include, engineering, manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, skilled trades and most recently the creation of FrontLine Healthcare.
