Fractal Systems Inc. is a private Canadian company that is engaged in the business of upgrading heavy-oil and bitumen through our simple, proprietary technology. Jetshear™ is Fractal System’s first technology that is ready for commercialization. Jetshear™ processing dramatically reduces the viscosity of heavy oil allowing the oil to move more freely in pipelines for transportation. In tests run on Canadian bitumen, Jetshear™ reduced the viscosity by up to 7 fold. This result provides the owner or transporter of the oil an opportunity to significantly reduce their costs associated with moving it.
