femMED, founded in 2007 by Shawna Page, is a company focused on providing natural health solutions to women’s most common health concerns.

Shawna’s health has always been extremely important to her, and in her early 40s, she began experiencing the symptoms of perimenopause. Her doctor gave her one solution: oral contraceptives. Her naturopath, on the other hand, offered a holistic approach with a regime of various vitamins, minerals and herbs, which was a program Shawna felt much better about. However, on the downside, there was a point when Shawna was taking 33 supplements to get her symptoms under control, and she knew there had to be a better way. That’s when the idea for femMED was born.
