C. Blair Falconer is a Barrister & Solicitor practicing in the City of Edmonton, Alberta and he is the founding lawyer of Falconer Law. For much of his career, Mr. Falconer has appeared as lead counsel before the Court of Queen’s Bench and the Court of Appeal on a number of important Commercial Litigation, Creditor’s Rights/Insolvency and Builder’s Lien cases, especially as they affect shareholder’s disputes, the rights of builders’ lien holders and business workarounds. He chaired the Creditor’s Rights North section of the Canadian Bar Association and has been a guest lecturer at various small business conferences on issues of lease enforcement, creditor proofing, unanimous shareholders’ agreements and purchasing and selling businesses. Mr. Falconer is currently expanding his practice to include tax and tax litigation matters.
