It also includes related services in plant conservation, landscape restoration, landscape and garden design/construction/maintenance, horticultural therapy, and much more. An arborist, or (less commonly) arboriculturist, is a professional in the practice of arboriculture, which is the cultivation, management, and study of individual trees, shrubs, vines, and other perennial woody plants. Arborists focus on the health and safety of individual plants and trees. Most in my industry are Arborist however, I am also a Horticulturist. What does this mean for you - just that I am extensively trained beyond the standard credentials in my industry.
