eConnections Therapy provides technology-based therapy to Manitobans that is accessible, discrete, and confidential. Using email, video conferencing, and telephone services, I provide quality therapy for a wide range of issues. e-Therapy is a new development in therapeutic practice that is becoming more prevalent, as many studies show that clients can benefit greatly from the inclusion of technological supports. The most prevalent studies to date show particular success for young people, persons experiencing cultural stigma around mental illness, those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, or addictions, and many others. e-Therapy also allows a level of accessibility that may be especially important for persons in rural or northern communities, those with limited transportation options, single parents, and persons with physical limitations, to name a few.
