Discovery Trekking Outfitters (DTO) is a privately owned family company that manufactures innovative products for outdoors, sports, travel, and special markets. These products are marketed under the Discovery Trekking brand for outdoor product and clothing, and the SOSecure brand for special garments for those with incontinence. Although the product lines are completely different, the caring and quality of design remains the same. From our Fast-Dry towels, to moisture-managing Hot Flash bedding and sleepwear, to a protective Saddle Skirt for equestrians, DTO blazes the innovation trail. ”Why didn’t I think of that?” is the response from thousands of our customers! We proudly make our products in North America and base our success on building and maintaining strong relationships with our stakeholders. Located in Campbell River, British Columbia, owner and founder Leslie Hanes continues to develop products that fill a need. We get many of our best ideas from listening and interacting with customers. Our products reflect this philosophy.
