Description
The Dashwood Volunteer Fire Department was formed in 1984 by a dedicated group of community members who felt a strong passion to have a safer community. Today that passion is still alive and the tradition of keep our community safe is forefront with all our members. The Dashwood Volunteer Fire Department has 40 dedicated volunteers operating out of two strategically placed fire stations. They are under the direction of Fire Chief Nick Acciavatti, Deputy Chief Greg Howard (Training & Operations) and Assistant Chief Richard 'Dick' Shantz (Station 62 & Operations).
