Crocker Cabins, Trout River, NL

Blanchard House, Crocker Cabins and the Granite Coffee House are all located in

the south sector of Gros Morne National Park. Gros Morne is the largest national park

in Atlantic Canada and one of the most spectacular in Canada's national park system. Take Route 1 from Port aux Basques or St. John's to the Town of Deer Lake

on the west coast of the island. From there, take Route 430, the Viking Trail

north approximately 30 kilometers to the Community of Wiltondale and the entrance

to Gros Morne National Park. Gros Morne is divided into two sectors, north and south.

To visit the south sector of the park, turn off onto Route 431 at Wiltondale. The

scenic drive along Bonne Bay's Southern Arm takes visitors through several

picturesque communities overshadowed by the majestic Tablelands and the Long

Range Mountains.
