Description
AHSABC is a leader in Aboriginal Early Childhood Education. Aboriginal Head Start is an early intervention preschool program with 12 programs located in urban centres throughout British Columbia. They support the learning of Aboriginal children by incorporating their First Nations, Métis and Inuit cultural heritage. There are 6 components: Culture and Language; Kindergarten Readiness; Health Promotion; Nutrition; Social Support; and Parent, Elder and Family Involvement.
