Founded in 1988, Community Futures Strathcona has approved more than 804 business loans, injected over $22 million into the local economy; provided business consultation and training to over 2000 clients; and helped to create and maintain over 2790 full-time and part-time jobs. Community Futures Strathcona actively supports the development and growth of new and existing businesses in the Comox Valley and Strathcona region. We are eager to help entrepreneurs get on their feet through our lending program. We recognize that it is not always easy to get start-up cash when you are new on the block.
