Description
Cancer Advocacy Coalition of Canada has a clear vision for the Cancey System: An effective, comprehensive, evidence-based cancer system that offers Canadians the best chances for preventing and treating this disease, and addresses the emotional, physical and financial needs of patients and survivors. Dr. Dauna Crooks, RN, DNSc, Chair of the Board, is the former Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, University of Manitoba as well as the former Associate Professor at both the University of Toronto and McMaster University (retired). Dauna is also a member of seven professional organizations and has numerous grants and publications.
Larry Broadfield, BScPharm, MHSc, Vice-Chair of the Board, is Manager of the Systemic Therapy Program Cancer Care Nova Scotia. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Association of Hospital Pharmacists and a member of numerous professional associations.
