Ardene, Ottawa, ON

Hi, I was at the ardene in rideau center around 10/11ish. I waited on line to buy 4 boots, while those ahead of me buy many other items. There were two ladies behind me who had to buy couple items I'm sure their items were lesser than mine. The cashier told them "it won't be long", and asked me if she could serve them first while I went to pick up the sucks. I said to her "you can go on scan my boots I'm not sure if I'll buy the sucks. I'm late for work." Despite my answer she went on and served the other girls and abondoned my items. I went on cash and I was the one waiting in line. I said to her "I came first". "I THOUGHT you went look for sucks, she replied. I said still you did not ask for my approval. I said to you that you could scan my stuff while I'm checking the sucks and if it was time to pay you could just let me know and I'll come to pay. From my understanding, she favoured the other two girls over me despite the fact that I was patient enough two wait for two customers ahead of me to be served already. These two girls could wait too. That's why we have lines and it is logic. It happened that the two other girls were white and I was black. I'm not sure if I should blame my colour to excuse her conduct, but as an equal member of our Canadian society, I deserve to be treated equally.
