At Alton Kids Child Care Center, we promote “Learning through play and experience”. We achieve this by concentrating on the child’s physical, social, emotional, spiritual, artistic and intellectual development. It is important that the child develop a positive self-concept, through choice activities, a sense of independence.

The Staff respects and appreciates each child as an individual to allow a child to feel secure and to have positive daily experiences.

Mutual respect and affection between teachers and children help develop a home away from home atmosphere. Alton Kids Child Care Center will provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers, preschool and school age children. We focus on providing a stimulating early care and education experience which promotes each child’s social/emotional, physical and cognitive development. Our goal is to support children’s desire to be life-long learners.
