Avtar, founder of Abl Security Systems gained his education at the Derbyshire College of High Technology specialising in Electronics and was awarded the Student of the Year Medal. Apprenticed as an Electrical & Electronic Technician at Her Majesty’s Naval Base where he earned the Apprentice of the Year Award. He continued his electronics career in civil and defence systems at Rolls-Royce Aero Engine Test Facilities and the Drafting division, before moving on to become an Electronics Design Engineer at Marconi Avionics, Foxhunter Radar Automatic Test Equipment division. Not fully satisfied with the diverse field of electronics he moved on to the TannSynchronome Access Control Divisionas the southern UK Service Engineer involved in servicing and customer training at business, civil and defence establishments. Still not satisfied, he moved to Surrey in 1992 where he managed Abl Electronics Repair & Sales store, worked with several electronic security companies and a major restoration company. It was 1996 when Abl Electronics became Abl Security Systems Ltd. Since operating on his own he established a clientele base of over 600 customers, ranging from home builders/renovators, lumber mills, trucking companies, restaurants, medical buildings, sales stores, offices the list goes on! At the beginning of year 2012, an aggressive campaign has been started with management, sales/marketing, technical installations division’s changes. This, together with available installation techniques will enable Abl Security to be ahead of its competitors in continued business growth and customer satisfaction.
