Dr. Tanja Haley is a psychologist in private practice in North West Calgary, Alberta. Tanja holds a Ph. in Applied Psychology from the University of Calgary, and has worked in a variety of settings from single-session walk-in therapy to longer-term counselling. As well as possessing extensive experience working with individuals, Tanja specializes in working with couples and is a Certified Gottman Therapist . Her areas of expertise include relationship/intimacy issues, trauma, and stress/depression. She is also a certified Level I EMDR clinician as well as an oral examiner for the College of Alberta Psychologists . When she is not seeing clients in her private practice, she is teaching graduate students the basics of counselling in her role as sessional instructor for the Campus Alberta program. Tanja appeared monthly on the Global News Morning Edition as their relationship expert for over 3 years. She tackled a variety of topics including internet dating, how to keep your relationship on track, and dealing with depression.) Through her private practice Tanja provides both individual and couples consultations, as well as family therapy with adult clients.
