Company description
Dr. Lopes is a doctor of chiropractic who graduated in 2005 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). She obtained her BSc. degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph. She then went on to complete her MSc. in Kinesiology at York University in 2008 and concurrently completed her Sports Chiropractic Fellowship program in 2011 through the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences Canada (RCCSSC).
Between 2005-2010, she has worked with the Ontario and National Training Centre soccer teams at the Soccer Centre in Vaughan, as well as for international trips to the U.S.A., Chile and Brazil. She was also the team doctor for the United Soccer League Lady Lynx Soccer Team from 2005-2008.
She completed her fourth marathon in May 2013 and continues to push her limits with long distance running. She frequently gives informational talks about injury prevention, stretching protocols, and treatment to runners of all levels.
Dr. Lopes’ other passions include salsa dancing, travelling the world and photography.
