This vet is outstanding. He has saved the lives of many of our rescued dogs. He is very conscientious and supervises all his staff especially new ones. He has filled our dog's Rxs unless a trained staff member is there and they do it. He is frequently getting upgraded in areas such as Cardiac illnesses and orthopaedic surgeries and the like. I would recommend him to anyone.His post graduate training at Purdue University puts him above and beyond many out there, in my opinion.

While any surgery is expensive, Dr Rana has saved our dog Dixie twice now. This last time I had been without work and Dr Rana provided us with payments as I was certain I was going to have to put our dog down. Dr Rana allowed us with his generosity to keep our member of our family. Tremendous thanks to the staff and to Dr Rana.

Dr. Rana is the single reason our 17 year old male cat is still alive. We took Phantom to numerous vets and they all said it was hopeless, he was old, it was cancer just wait for the end. Dr Rana performed laser surgery, removed the cancer and Phantom thinks he is a kitten. That was in 2009. Dr Rana treats my son's service dog Party and our little mix. He is compassionate, kind, honest and expert in many areas. T me he is like St Francis with animals. God Bless Dr Rana

My dog had four puppies then she kept on pushing with no results for hours. Although she was breathing fine and in no pain at all I realized that something was wrong. I called around to several vets and no one would help me out. I was bawling and very upset I had no money till the end of the month everywhere I called people were very rude and cruel. Then I called APEX and without any question they told me to bring her in. These people were angels all they cared about was the wellbeing of my dog. Through a C-section they delivered two more beautiful babies and brought my dog back to her healthy self. I just want to let dog lovers know that these people at APEX are actual pet lovers who really are there for your pet. She would have died if it wasn’t for these loving people at APEX.

Our first encounter with Dr. Rana was when we required emergency medical care for our dog after she broke her jaw. Dr. Rana performed a very serious and complicated surgery but did an awesome job. We were very impressed with the work he did and also the reasonable rate that he charged after many hours of surgery time. Only 6 months later we required additional surgery for our dog to have her eye removed due to complications with glaucoma. Again, surgery was performed with fantastic results, no infections, or complications, and with beautiful healing. We will always direct our major veterinary needs to Dr. Rana. He is the veterinarian we trust.

I have been coming to Apex for at least 12 years and have nothing but praise for Dr. Rana and staff. I have recommended this hospital to many friends. Dr. Rana is very clear in explaining the pets ailments and treatments necessary. This new place is so awesome.

We have been bringing our two cats and two dogs to Dr. Rana for a number of years and he has always provided them the best of care. We congratulate Dr. Rana on his achievements in setting up a 24 hour hospital which has the most up to date equipment and facilities to our cherished pet. We should recommend Dr. Rana to anyone who wants the best care for their animals.

I have been bringing my dogs and cats to Apex Animal Hospital for past 10 years. In that time Dr. Rana and his staff have always treated my animals with concern and kindness. There have been many many visits. We have shared laughter and tears. Dr. Rana and his staff are dedicated and caring people.

TeddyCocker Spaniel Rescue was looking for a vet who was good and one who gives us discounts, as we survive on donations. What we found when we brought our first rescue dog to Dr. Rana, was not only the discounts, which we appreciated, but more importantly we found a veterinarian who was knowledgeable, skilled in his work and most importantly very caring and gentle with our dogs. Many of our dogs come to us abused and frightened of men. I'm not sure how Dr. Rana does it but I can't remember a dog that didn't take to him. I recommended him to a breeder friend once and her comments, which I tell people all the time was "He oozes compassion for animals".

The girls really know their jobs and the clinic equipment. Great idea to have most needs (diagnostic - wise) all set up at one location. Obvious care for animal is their first priority. Dr. Rana saved my Yorkie after a bad chemical reaction. Excellent food choice advice from Dr. Rana.

I have been a client of Dr. Rana and his staff for the past 12 years. I have had many dogs that he has saved, extended their lives and lessen their pain. He is incredibly empathic and very determined to find the problem and make them better. I now have 4 dogs and 3 cats. He takes excellent care of them all. Their gentle and soft-spoken manner, has made my animal unafraid of their "Vet" visits. I thought I was going to lose my "old guy" this summer, but Doctor Rana and his team found what was ailing him and he is still going for happy walks with me. I recommend Apex animal Hospital confidently to anyone.

Feelings of immense gratitude towards a human being for saving an animal's life are almost impossible to express in words. I am compelled to do so in order to thank and congratulate Dr. Rana and the other doctors and nurses at Apex animal hospital for saving Otto's life. Dr. Rana saved Otto's life and gave my children hope to believe in life's positive force.

When I started coming to Apex Animal Hospital 4 years ago, it was because it was closer to me than my other vet office. What I found was not only a closer office, but a very caring staff and a veterinarian who actually spent time with me as opposed to taking a quick look at my dog and out. Dr. Rana spent time with me explaining procedures by bringing me into his office and showing me the textbook. I was very impressed by this. As an RN, I am very cautious of vet care my dog receive. After Dr. Rana saved the life of my female Cocker Spaniel, I was hooked.

Dr Rana oozes compassion for the animals.He has saved the life of one of my dogs and he is always in because he's a bit of a workaholic. ;-) If I don't understand something, he will bring out the textbook to help explain things to me. I really like that. His fees are not too high at all.

When I realized that my 9 year old Border Collie/Healer girl had a large mass in her mouth, my first thought was cancer. I contacted a friend who runs the Cocker Spaniel Rescue in BC to ask if she knew anything about oral cancer. She referred me to Dr. Rana. At our appointment I told him I suspected cancer. He agreed and told me exactly what options we had for surgery. They also would do pre-op x-rays and blood work to determine if the cancer had spread. We opted for the assessments and surgery. My dog had a full removal of her lower jaw. The cancer had been very invasive. Dr. Rana's skill as a diagnostician and surgeon saved our Meg. I don't believe that another vet could have performed the surgery as skillfully and successfully as he did. And having the ability to x-ray and do blood work on site, told us instantly that her lungs and organs were clear of cancer. Meg has completely recovered and has adjusted to licking up her mushy food. We are so grateful for Dr. Rana. Thank You!

Dr Rana was amazing with me and my 2 year old ragdoll that somehow broke his hip. Through the process he was very reassuring and calming both with me and him. I would recommend this vet. He also is working on the best recovery program with me that will help with the outcome. So in saying that "Thanks for everything Dr.Rana"

I brought my dog in after she was attacked by another dog. I thought for sure she would lose her eye but Dr.Rana was excellent! Being an animal owner my whole life and seeing huge vet bills and excellent to horrible vets throughout my life I can honestly say this place was extremely professional, helpful and didn't charge me an outrageous "emergency fee." I highly recommend them!

Honestly this hospital was highly rated I was recommended to go here. i did and Im disappointed on a few issues such as no follow up on their patients and there is no real compassion. I felt as if I was imposing, my dog needed help and if it wasnt for the money kaching!!!he would have ignored him..I will not return to this hospital with any of my animals ever again
