Peter McCarthy, President of Service 1st Heating and Cooling and former award winning sales representative of Ross Heating and Air Conditioning had a big task ahead of him.  All he had in his yard was a big rock and a small garden pond. 

 He was able to transform his outdoor living space with a new deck, pergola and patio plus professional landscaping thanks to the help of Ryan Bolender and his team from wemowandmore.com. Next step was buying patio furniture and accessories.  Peter and his bride to be, Glenna set out to buy seating groups and dining furniture. Being a professional sales person for over 22 years in Cambridge, Peter was hoping to find a store with knowledgeable staff that could assist him with options that would best suit his vision for his outdoor living space. Though he did buy furniture he felt his overall shopping experience was a big disappointment.  That got him to thinking about how IKEA lays out their indoor furniture in room groupings.  He mentioned to Glenna how he thought he could do a much better job of setting up and operating an outdoor living showroom and the more they talked about it, the more ideas ran in his head. The Patio Place opened its doors in the spring of 2015.
