In October 1982, actually twenty Germans founded the German Canadian Club “Harmony”. This happened because Mrs. Elisabeth Sikorsky had the vision to start a German Club here in Chilliwack. Through advertising in radio and newspaper she created an interest in the founding members to preserve the German traditions. Our thanks go to her, that we have today the German Club.
