We hate the way they lure you in with low priced plans, only to get the "bait and switch" — where they offer you the inexpensive security system to get you interested, and then up-sell you onto the expensive plan that has what you really need. We hate how when you need support they make you spend hours on hold only to get an outsourced, off-shore call centre. And we really hate how long it takes to get up and running, from the many days it takes to get an installer out, to the all day appointment windows — who has time to wait for an appointment between 9am and 6pm?! We knew there was a better way. A way to deliver the same systems and monitoring the other companies have, but with real local people that truly care about you, and live in the same neighbourhoods as you.
