I have shared my life with a female Blue Fronted Amazon named “Murdie” since I was a child. Over the years I have learned that owning a parrot is a lifelong commitment. My husband shares my love for parrots and because of this we have opened our home to parrots in need. Some of the parrots currently in our care came from really good homes but for various reasons were in need of a new home. Others were unwanted and some were even abused and neglected. I am very fortunate to be able to be home full time with the birds and to be able to provide a permanent, loving, safe, enriching, environment for the birds in our care. The love for our parrots was the inspiration for this site.
