The Military Museums (TMM) is a Canadian Forces tri-service history, heritage, art, research, and educational institution. TMM is composed of the following organizations: Naval Museum of Alberta Army Museum of Alberta Air Force Museum of Alberta Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians) Museum Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Museum and Archives The King's Own Calgary Regiment (Royal Canadian Armoured Corps) Museum The Calgary Highlanders Regimental Museum and Archives The University of Calgary Military Museums Library and Archives To enrich your experience, TMM also contains: The Founders' Gallery: an art and heritage exhibit space featuring special exhibits on topical subjects. An Education Centre capable of accommodating 66 students and outfitted with modern SMART technology. An Archival Reading Room where you can use the archival materials held at TMM for research. Vision The Military Museums envisions a community where military contributions to Canada's heritage endure. Mission Remember the sacrifices of Canadians and allies in the defence of our nation and freedom by telling their stories; Preserve artefacts and archival material related to the military history of Canada with emphasis on western Canada; and Educate Canadians, with an emphasis on youth, about the impact of military events on the development of Canada and the importance of military security, as a component of national security, now and in the future.

The museum offers an educational experience with a focus on Canadian military history, including a cold war bunker and a para scope to see the area.
