Calgary P-Too Learn to Swim Association is a unique swimming experience for children ages 6 to 9. Our program offers a learn to swim program in a setting that builds upon being a part of a team. Our swimmers are with the same coach and “team-mates” for a minimum of 4 months. This allows for consistency in learning, and the building of friendships and confidence as our swimmers’ skills improve. The P-Too program incorporates a strong focus on stroke development with pre-competitive elements making it a perfect first step to either recreational or competitive swimming based on theI Can Swim Program. From the very first day our swimmers spend 45 minutes, twice a week, in the water, swimming. Cohesive groupings allow our coaches to maximize the time each child spends swimming, with a great deal of individual instruction and feedback.
