Seventh Step Society is a highly-regarded non-profit organization in Calgary, providing essential support for individuals looking to better their lives after legal issues. The organization offers effective programs and has a positive impact on community integration. Staff members are generally friendly and helpful, with some exceptions. Food is satisfactory, and despite some operational challenges, the organization is commended for its overall positive impact.

My name is Jenn Corbiell and I am a registered Social Worker in Calgary, Alberta, working both in private practice and as a Family Therapist with Alberta Health Services. I hold a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work and a Bachelors Degree in Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies. My practice interests include working with trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationship issues, and life transitions. While my current practice is largely focused on working with adults, I possess extensive experience working with adolescents and families experiencing behavioral and emotional challenges. I am trained in Motivational Interviewing, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness Techniques. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and I view my clients as the expert. Together, we will develop an individually focused treatment plan designed to achieve client goals, improve self-awareness, and identify barriers preventing change. It is my hope that in our work together, clients will uncover strengths, improve coping, and begin to lead increasingly meaningful lives.
