Maureen Khallad has been a pre-school music teacher since 1989 with a total of seven years of musical training prior to teaching at Think Sun. She has developed, over these years, her own musical education program which enables her students to ENJOY making music, listening to music, and best of all using the best instruments on earth-her students’ voices. Jane Hall has been a pre-school art teacher since 1985-she and I have taught together since 1989. She has completed many courses in art as well as early childhood development. Jane believes very strongly in preparing her Students for a public school classroom where class sizes will increasingly demand a SUPERIOR listening ability in students. The Think Sun Pre-School was originally located in Haysboro. The original school was called The Helping Hand Early Childhood Education Center and Maureen was a graduate of this program in 1959! She took over the school in 1989 when Mrs. Virginia Walter, the founder of this program retired. The Think Sun Pre-School moved to Strathcona in 1995 where it continues to welcome and prepare preschoolers for kindergarten.
