Located in the community of Lynnwood, Sherwood school was built in 1956, and has a rich family and community history often with students in attendance who's family members have attended Sherwood School going back several generations. Sherwood School hosts students Grades 4-6 from the Ogden and Lynnwood communities, as well as Grades 7-9 from Ogden, Lynnwood, Riverbend, and Mahogany communities. Community feeder schools for Sherwood are Banting & Best School and Riverbend School. Sherwood School is a collaborative middle school. Academics and electives come together at Sherwood to support student learning in a variety of creative ways. There are a wide range of subjects offered at Sherwood.
