A professional engineer with 28 years of expertise in the power industry, Mr. Wilson received his degree in electrical engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. Upon graduation, he joined SaskPower, where he assumed management roles of increasing responsibility in various aspects of long-range systems planning for generation and transmission. Prior to his appointment to the Power Pool, Mr. Wilson was responsible for the overall coordination and operation of SaskPower's electric power systems. Mr. Wilson is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, and the Canadian Electricity Association. He resides in Calgary, Alberta.
