With humble beginnings in 1988, CIES has grown from a very small organization with only Mr. Salim M. Sindhu as a volunteer in a 250 sq. ft. office to its present status. CIES now has over 70 dedicated staff and 100 volunteers working in a 15, 000 sq. ft. office building. Our objective is to help newcomers and economically disadvantaged Calgarians become productive and successful.
