Heritage Park’s exhibits span the early 1860s fur trade to the petroleum and automobile-dominated 1950s and are situated in four locations around the Park. Heritage Park is open year-round with new events, attractions and offerings happening all the time. Located in the heart of southwest Calgary, Heritage Park is located on a 127 acre peninsula of parkland on the Glenmore Reservoir. The majestic Rocky Mountains form a fitting backdrop that completes the Park’s beautiful surroundings. In addition to the interpretive park, enjoy dinner or lunch in either the Railway Café or famous Selkirk Grille. Those seeking an elegant dining experience are in for a treat at the Selkirk Grille with seasonal menus and flavours. The Heritage Park gift shop features old fashion candy, rare antiques and classic toys, year round. Heritage Park offers the bride and groom enchanting places to exchange vows. Locations are suitable for evening ceremonies, outdoor ceremonies or within St Martin’s Church or the Montifiorie Institute.
