The Canadian branch of TFO is independent from the American branch, however all TFO rods are made in the same facility in South Korea (see below). If you've visited both the Canadian and American websites you'll have noticed that although some rod series are carried by both branches, other rod series are only carried by one branch. The reason for this is that each branch carries rod series' that are region and water specific. Because of this, TFO Canada is unable to perform warranty service on a rod bought in the US, and vice versa.
