MICAH INTERNATIONAL LTD. (pronounced my'ka), was formally established in May of 1991 as a home based wholesale supplier of North American Indian Jewelry, Arts, Crafts and Collectibles to the retail and tourist gift shop market across Canada. On August 20, 1994 MICAH GALLERY opened the first retail location in Calgary, Alberta at 1819 - 4th Street S.W. Coincidentally, this was the same day the Sacred White Buffalo was born in Jainesville, Wisconsin, U.S.A. This 3000sq.ft. location was home to the MICAH GALLERY for 5 years until November of 1999 at which time MICAH GALLERY relocated to 110 - 8th Avenue S.W. This new location in bustling downtown Calgary is in the historic Ashdown Building of 1891 which features 14 foot ceilings and hand carved sandstone walls. The 4000 square feet of display area features a massive collection of authentic handcrafted items of North America's First People.
Micah Gallery is a pub with unique ambience and Scottish vibe. Customers appreciate the cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and reasonable prices. Some mention excellent food and drinks, while others caution about inconsistent food quality. The pub features pool tables, dart board, and video games.
