Pulse Studios is founded by Gill Co, Peter Strickland, Tara Wilson and Vince Truong back in 2010 and officially opened in January 2011. Pulse Studios is the only dance studio in Calgary dedicated exclusively to Hip Hop and Urban Dance styles. The only Not For Profit, Family Friendly, All-inclusive Competitive program dance school in Calgary with Fundraising to aid in the personal cost of dance with a strong Sense of belonging, with small personalized classes of 7 to 9 dancers. Our dancers start at 3-5 years old and stay until their 18. Our 6000 sq. ft. of Sprung Dance Floors were specially designed to have 3 layers of foam so that dancers could drop from over 12 feet and not hurt their knees. As a convenience, we have Change rooms with lockers, students are assigned a locker for the whole year. Pure Energy Dance School is a not-for-profit dancing school in Calgary with a strong focus on inclusivity and opportunities for all children to dance. The supportive environment helps students build self-confidence, friendships, and essential life skills. Parents are actively involved and the teachers are experienced and caring.
