The Military Museums (TMM) is a Canadian Forces tri-service history, heritage, art, research, and educational institution. TMM is composed of the following organizations: Naval Museum of Alberta Army Museum of Alberta Air Force Museum of Alberta Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians) Museum Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Museum and Archives The King's Own Calgary Regiment (Royal Canadian Armoured Corps) Museum The Calgary Highlanders Regimental Museum and Archives The University of Calgary Military Museums Library and Archives To enrich your experience, TMM also contains: The Founders' Gallery: an art and heritage exhibit space featuring special exhibits on topical subjects. An Education Centre capable of accommodating 66 students and outfitted with modern SMART technology. An Archival Reading Room where you can use the archival materials held at TMM for research. The Military Museums in Calgary showcase extensive military history displays with numerous exhibits. Visitors appreciate the friendly and knowledgeable staff, rich information, and beautiful surroundings. The museum offers an educational experience with a focus on Canadian military history, including a cold war bunker and a para scope to see the area. The facility is highly recommended for its superb collections and exhibits, drawing repeat visits.
