Power of Attorney in Burnaby, BC

Absolutely atrocious service. I went in there a couple of weeks ago to get an affidavit signed for my divorce. I also told Ping Ping that the photo of my ex was an exhibit (I am doing my divorce online and the instructions were to do this) . When I filed my divorce back to the company, they said it would not go through because the photo had not been stamped. I spoke to Ping Ping yesterday who said that she has never done this before for a divorce. She then said it was a matter for a family law lawyer, not a notary and that I should speak to a court. When I sent her a screenshot of the BC legislation pertaining to a notary stamping a photo as an exhibit, she then said I should goto another notary (baring in mind I had already paid her $80 which is a lot more than most notaries charge.) She then rang me up and said I didn't ask her to stamp the picture. I responded that I definitely told her this was to be submitted as an exhibit. She then agreed that I had said if was an exhibit, but I hadnt asked her to stamp it. Forgive me, isnt she the legal expert who should know what to do? All in all a terrible experience with an incompetent notary who overcharged. Avoid at all costs
