We, Michael and Pamela Casey, took over Finbar’s in Bedford in October 2004. The business had some challenges, to say the least, but we saw a lot of potential and we knew with a little luck, a few good people, and a lot of hard work we could really do something special. We wanted to create a place that was friendly and inviting, a neighbourhood pub that offers fantastic food, great service and a feeling of familiarity and comfort for everyone. The community of Bedford and the surrounding area has been incredibly supportive and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal patrons for helping us so much over the years. In June 2013 we opened our second Finbar’s in Portland Hills, Dartmouth and we couldn’t be happier with the results! We’ve tried to bring the same sense of community that our patrons have come to expect in Bedford and the response has been terrific. We’re meeting new friends every day and having a great time in general. Finbar’s is our baby, we live it every day a Finbar’s Irish Pub in Bedford is a beloved establishment with consistently excellent food and outstanding service.
