Dave Lankar was born in 1957 and has owned his own business for over 30 years. He first started working in the trade at the young age of 16 and was a licensed mechanic by 20 years old. After that he worked for many different repair shops including a variety of gas stations and dealerships. After moving to Aurora in 1986, and having 3 kids of his own, he opened up his first shop in Aurora. The current shop is now a free-standing, four car garage owned and operated by Dave himself. 
Dave's Garage is highly regarded by customers for fast, affordable auto repair services. Shawn, the mechanic, is praised for his expertise, honesty, and friendly demeanor. Many have been returning for years, saving significant costs compared to other shops. Fair prices and knowledgeable staff are common praises.
