The Township of McNab/Braeside fronts on the Ottawa River, has access to White Lake and is crossed by the Madawaska River. Many of our residents enjoy waterfront cottages and homes. The Township is within easy commuting distance of downtown Ottawa and the eastern area of the Township is approximately 30 minutes from Scotiabank Place which is located in Kanata. The towns of Arnprior and Renfrew are both a short drive from the Township. There is a mixture of agricultural, residential and recreational development as well as some industrial, commercial and home based industries. The McNab/Braeside municipal office building, Public Works Department and Fire Station #1 are located at the junction of Highway 17 and Highway 508.
