He has conducted ceremonies as a part-time activity since 1998, a service from which he derives huge satisfaction. Most ceremonies – over 200 to date – have been weddings. But in addition, he has been privileged to conduct a small number of funeral, memorial and child-naming ceremonies which he considers to be an important part of the services he offers. He recently became authorized to provide volunteer visiting services to the terminally ill with the HubHospice in Almonte, Ontario.
