Islamic Society of Ajax was started from the basement of a house in 2005. In 2013, Allah (SWT) blessed the community with a 3.2 acre land having two structures. Alhamdulillah, worship zoning permit has been acquired and now the project is in its last stages to acquire the occupancy permit. Warehouse has been turned into Masjid where more than 1000 Musallis could perform their prayer. This is the first Masjid in the town of Ajax. This is the project which started with zero dollar and zero resources. Another Miracle of Allah (SWT)! 
This Islamic Society of Ajax is highly regarded by many for its peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The community is active, with knowledgeable and friendly leaders. The mosque offers ample parking and is often described as beautiful and nice. Some visitors have mentioned the importance of knowing Jummah timings. One reviewer mentioned the need for multiple parking lot exits for efficient traffic flow.
